they're not awful musicians, but they ape zeppelin so indiscriminately that it leaves a bad taste in my mouth

Yeah that’s probably the worst part about them, they try to distance themselves from the Zeppelin comparisons by being purposefully dishonest (again, they started out as a Zep cover band)

That last paragraph is fire. Havapos.

Also, as has been pointed out. The problem isn't that the band is "bad" per se at making music. The problem is their blatant and (I was going to say unabashed, but considering that they're now being coy about the Zep influence I'm going with) disingenuous carbon copying of Zeppelin that panders to everyone who thinks rock music peaked in 1969 and died in 1994 and therefore refuse to support artists who don't sound like something from that period.

I can virtually guarantee that none of the people who think this band are awesome support local acts.

I think the real question is why did it take this long, especially considering the amount of people who reviewed this, for this to be reviewed?

The only plausible reason is if you've listened to Zep so much that you're bored of it and want something new but not new at all.
