Lol 😂
I looped it a couple times, but I wanna give it more time to sink in and to explore more of her discog, but I’m loving this. Thanks for the rec, Johnny!

I prefer Origami to this one but man, she has that heart melting voice...

Tuning into this one for the first time in ages and damn it holds up well. Probably the best of her early work, although Utabiko's highlights are wonderful too

honestly maybe my favorite of her studio albums

Man, this is so beautiful and hypnotic. I hadn't checked out Ichiko's pre-Windswept albums until recently, and her back catalogue is absolutely fantastic

windswept is easily my least favorite of the few ive checked tbh, need to hear this one and some others

Windswept is a tough one bc the backend has some of her absolute best standalone tunes, but the first half minus Pilgrimage is my least favourite stretch on any of her albums (somewhat annoying album to jam on vinyl as such, especially since each side is like 12 minutes long). Diffuse chamber pieces are really not her look
This one is so good though, first three and last three are her best runs pre-0. Took me ages to get into it, think I overlooked it because Utabiko has flashier highlights and I didn't give her early work enough attention overall

Should check

yes, definitely do Neeka. 0 is monumental and everything else she has done (at least the 'main' LPs) is at least worthwhile...
Ugh, just realised I'm missing Mahoroboshiya from my repertoire. Oversight alert but also cool because more Ichiko, woo!
