I was not feeling this at all... I definitely prefer the immediacy of White Noise.

I forget the sputnik humor consists of trashing on people for opinions with shit attempts at comedy

then why are you still here? you don't contribute to this site in any way other than acting like a man-child when other users "shit" on people for their taste in music

Much like White Noise I do think this album is kind of front loaded.

first I've heard of this band. Every single song was solid individually, let's see how it holds on repeated listens. Vocalist is great.

Help me and a few friends: Why does the bridge of What's Wrong (the "sold my soul" bit) sound so familiar?

This has some of the best songs they have written to date. Half is one of my favorites here.

Also, Lynn has done quite well for herself given how damaged and worn her vocals have become from touring. For many of the songs she will stay in her lower range with some light falsetto here and there, gone are the belting chorus' of the last album.

I like that she now uses her voice as more of a texture to the songs instead of just something that goes over the music.

Yeah the songs on here will be much more comfortable for her to sing.

Disappointed with u.

They were out here in June and I have to admit, Lynn sounded totally exhausted, she obviously would have been from traveling all the way to Aus but she just really struggled. So as you said, these new songs will hopefully be easier for her to perform live.
They played Half but she still sounded pretty rough.

Listen to early songs like The Heartless and although she hits some impressive notes she really isn't doing her voice any favors.
