I guess my only real gripe is that I think the last song should've been a bit stronger. I still enjoy it but it didn't feel as epic as something like Hypatia Rising or Tranquil. Even so, it's more of a nitpick

I don't see how anyone could possibly think that this isn't one of John's best performances. His worst in 10 years? What garbage sound system are you listening through lmao
The end of Last of the Monuments is stupidly good. I have a hard time not rewinding before moving on to the next track.
This is the Truth is my favorite though. Goes hard as fuck but still has some nice melody running under the chorus. And that solo...
The Norris solo is on the last track, for those wondering.

oh my god you mention God Forbid and Shadows Fall in the first line of the review. I knew I was doing the right thing giving this a pos as soon as it was posted. this actually got three pos votes in less than two minutes after Chamberlain posted it lol. great review man.

Great album, great review. This makes me want to see them live again.
When I saw them live a few years ago, I had a beer with Henry backstage and he gave me some free merch. He is a really nice guy and he is a beast of a vocalist, so I'm glad that the band are finally at the top of their game again.
