The strangest thing I find about this album is that if you took the vocals out of it, you'd get a lot of the same experience you'd get from listening to Bring Me the Horizon's That's the Spirit album if it were instrumental, especially the guitar tone (especially "Oh No"). I know that's a weird connection, but I keep hearing it. Idk if it makes me like this less or the latter more, either way weird random feeling. Carry on.

Yeah, I'm really digging this. 4.0 or 4.5 this evening, I'll decide.

This is kinda dull at times but at the same time I kinda like it.

Basically how I feel. At worst it's decent background music.

But this is now album number three of the same background music and the critics are still wanking themselves silly over it

Sure, they give good lisp - but that alone shouldn't mean they get fast track inducted into the rock n' roll hall of fame lol

Certainly the critical response to this is a bit confusing. P4k's 8.4? Come on. I mean it's very ~nice~ but emotionally rather empty

Jamie xx is the reason I will return to this. As much as this lends itself to 'background music', I feel like some of the subtleties in his production require closer attention to get the best enjoyment out of this album.

i am a sap for this type of music but agree that album three of the same general atmosphere is sort of tiring, although the production lifts it up a bit for me
