both of her openers were also solo women doing fucking weird ass shit by themselves too. the entire thing had this like super gloomy oppressive feminist angst vibe to it.

The review was good but Potsy's live review was even better. Listening to this now, weird shit is an understatement here, but liking it so far. Interrresting.

All was fine until I reached "The Plague". Now I am not listening to an album anymore, now I am enduring a sonic torture. That sound at the end of "The Plague", is she peeing in a bonfire or smth?

Nothing she's done comes remotely close to viscera imo

"sounds amazing"

it was a worthwhile experience.

"All was fine until I reached "The Plague". Now I am not listening to an album anymore, now I am enduring a sonic torture. That sound at the end of "The Plague", is she peeing in a bonfire or smth?"

Jenny has been on a steady progression from 'music' to 'not-really-music' ever since her debut. This is the most guilty of her catalogue of being edgy performance art above actual music.

"Nothing she's done comes remotely close to viscera imo"

from a musical perspective, this hard. Viscera is one of my favourite albums of all time. and its actually music the whole way through lol.

oh also i was extremely un-surprised that in between all the sets at her show they played the Knife like every single time.

Gotta check Viscera cause she actually kills it when she is making more music, less arty brain farts.

I think I'd agree with you, potsy. Viscera is a top 10 classic; amazing front to back. Can't even count how many times I've listened to it
