Imagine calling anything by Beethoven "lame". Imagine *actually* calling any movement in any symphony by Beethoven after his 5th "lame".

Ok yeah, fair enough. But calling any movement in his symphonies after the 5th "lame" is still wrong.

I grow tired of Beethoven's domination of classical music (in popular media, at least) but I agree with Alex. It is really hard to deny or attempt to nullify his brilliance.
