Cheers dude :] Yeah, this is pretty damn excellent. I kinda miss the doomier sound of old, but at the same time they're evolving well so I don't mind too much!

Yeah, I really miss the doom side of this band, especially Helio and Ascension (though the latter was probably more post-metal). But agreed, they constantly evolve and never write the same album twice. But a few slow, crushing moments wouldn't hurt...

second song and last song have some gigantic riffs and the vox are perfect. love the production on the drums, too -- it's like an avalanche, but with the cymbals and bells panned wide to give it character.
