Thanks, but I wish I could figure out what the band I heard is!
There were some folky bits...
Sounded like Ereb Altor
But it wasn't Ereb Altor

That album kicks ass.

It's funny too, because I jammed Memoria Vetusta I and II to get stoked for the third one before I listened to it. I was surprised, to say the least, by the sudden shift in style.

Gave this a first listen and I gotta say its not that bad. Might end up growing on me over time. First track is a really nice opener. Tellus Mater only has like one good riff. Metaphors Of The Moon and the last track are definitely the highlights of this album. Also they should have brought back the opening riff of the first track at the end of the first track, I was waiting for it and it never came. Lol

Gets better and better with each listen. I can't believe the amount of riffs crammed into this album.

Album Rating: 4.5
I agree. At first its kind of hard to grasp and I think its because the riffs constantly change through the songs and the album itself. There's so many riffs that at times I feel like they should have brought them back into the song but it doesn't happen. It doesn't take away from he album at all though. The last 2 tracks are amazing. I'm stuck between giving this a 4 or a 4.5
