'It Hates You' still blows me away every time I listen to it, and this album just turns the dial on everything they did on that up a notch.

He stated in an interview around the time It Hates You came out that he thought screaming was "immature" and basically said it takes no talent. Whether he can scream or not, he said he didn't want to do screamed vocals anymore after SOTP.

Regardless, this is freaking great, but I don't think they'll ever top It Hates You. That's one of my favorite albums of all time. It's on a level of it's own.

It Hates You actaully ended up being the one that grew on me the most. Not to say I don't listen to their older stuff, but when it comes to listening to a full album, It Hates You is their best in my opinion.
