yeah. but as far as being a prolific region yeah definitely. my favorite just has to be a damn near tie between finland and NY. there are so many good regions though.

if Autopsy was from Florida I would have to give that region the nod, maybe. they definitely add more firepower to the
Southern DM scene but for American DM ive always preferred NY over FL.

this album pretty much perfectly embodies why finnish dm is the best dm
the vast majority of finnish dm just somehow had this inexplicable aura of mysticism and esoteric evil that no other scene really captured. its really hard to put into words but everyone who knows finnish dm knows exactly what i mean.
its like all this stuff was actually recorded in ancient sumeria in like 5000 bc but just somehow surfaced in the late 80's/early 90's
