CaptainDooRight - Sorry I didn't get back to you yesterday. If I'm talking specifics about why I'm not totally digging this:
1. The production seems a little bit flat, or something about it bugs me a little bit (whispery sounding vocals coming in much more prominently than instruments, drums sound kinda wooden/quiet, etc)
2. The guitar parts all sound pretty good respectively, but for the most part they seemed like something I've already heard many times before, or just weren't really attention grabbing or super unique. Some parts I feel would've benefited from having a flashier riff/groove, maybe some powerful-sounding chords to carry it along, etc.
I really like that the songs blend light melodies and heavier grooves though, and the accompanying vocal parts always worked well to compliment the instrumentals. A lot of the time it seemed like you were just flipping a switch to alternate between soft and heavy parts, I like to hear some creative transitions. I also tended to prefer the quiet melodic parts because they had a bit more flash.
I wouldn't worry too much about what I have to say though. I'm really, really, really picky with my metal. Overall, great work! (PS Sorry for the novel of a comment)
