The vocals at the end of Revisited and Parade still blow my mind after 50+ listens

-musically, better than Hospice...

-loving the Motown and post-rock feel of it....

-songs have a lot of room to breathe...

-excellent, laid back grooves on the drums

-Refuge is such a good closing track...

that is all.

after almost 75 listens this has not grown old or lost any of its incredible emotional resonance. from the airy, light feeling the songs have to the sinister and pained lyricism and vocals, it all wrecks.

Yeah, if anyone thinks it's boring or unimaginative, listen to it again. Then again.

I was disappointed by it after the first couple listens, but 40+ listens later, I can't get enough of it and it's easily my AOTY so far. Fucking incredible.

This album is captivating. Took a few listens to sink in, but now that it has I can tell that it will be a grower.

I've read a lot of your reviews, and this was great as your others. I'm listening to this album all the way through for the first time, but I really like it so far. I don't know how it will beat Hospice (which is one of my favorite albums by anyone), but I'll give it a chance. :D Also, since I never got to tell you, I love your username. The Devil and God are Raging Inside Me is one of my favorite albums ever.
