Really like some of this bands older material. I'll get around to checking this eventually but I didn't like the pre-released songs.

I didn't like them a lot either but they complement the album very well.

Yeah I'm sure they do. The production is pretty grating but it really shows off how incredible Anthony is. I don't get why people say the old vocalist was better when he's not even in the same league.

He's not as versatile but I love his high screams and from what I've heard/read/seen he seems to be known for energetic shows.

Old vocalist was more unique, definitely, but the current vocalist has some intense screams. Neo Seoul. [2]

I have to disagree with Pennyweight being forgettable, that opening riff caught my attention quite nicely for a few listens

INTERESTING that on the popular albums list right now it's #1 Burial and then #2 AFTER THE Burial. Damn.

And for once a harmony fell over the Sputnik community.

But seriously, I've been addicted to this album all day. I'd love to learn the acoustic intro to Disconnect sometime.

If they made an whole album with tracks as good as Disconnect I would be really fucking happy. I only

REALLY enjoy like 4 songs here. The rest are just kind of there. They aren't bad, but when comparing

them to the better songs it's a frustrating listen.

When thy get it right they really get it right. End of Disconnect is so cool.
But what's up with the tuning on the last song? Is there a point where too low is achieved?

And why are people pissy about the production? They have never had good production. They had to remaster Rareform and In Dreams was way overproduced.
