This is one of their best albums in a while. Really good songwriting and a nice mix of rockers/ballads.

anyway back to the album only got this a few days back and first play i thought it was standard fair no real stand out every track merging into each other but with every listen it sorts itself out some real good moments on here if you like pj then you ll like this album i must say im enjoying it think its the best they have done for a while

Getaway is an insanely good track and very addictive. Album is not bad overall but too poppish for my taste. A bit more crispness would suit it well.

Cool album. Admittedly I've not listened to Pearl Jam's latter records (Mainly the albums released in the last ten years), but this has a well-balanced set of songs. There are more straightforward, punk rock-style tracks (Pretty much the first few songs) and then there are acoustic ballads which sometimes remind me of the Country/Southern rock genre. A few songs get a bit repetitive, and sometimes Vedder's voice is just weak in comparison to the instrumentation, but it's simply another great PJ album.

I dunno about ratings... it dont matter. Music sounds best live and PJ live, wether its 10 or Lightn Bolt is a damn good show.
