Summary: This album is the missing link between Psalm 69 and now. Don't pay attention to those rating it based on

their previous recent records.. we know they weren't very good. I don't know if I can trust a site that praises NIN's

shittier albums the way this one seems to.. or that thinks Animositisonima , a tired, arguably mediocre & formulated

Psalm-69 attempt, should be rated a classic and higher than this album which this reviewer says should "venture more

into the unknown." This album is everything a classic Ministry album would be- experimental, effects laden, political,

polished to a ridiculous extent, and the songs just kick ass. I would say even a little electronic-dubstep influenced

(track 1) at times, but it is very Ministry and truthfully their most innovative work since Psalm 69. Also, Reviewer: Al

doesn't do any spoken word himself on the record at all, it's Sgt Major who appeared on Rio Grand Blood. More

research please. One other thing, uneducated people shouldn't listen to this album. Al is against hate groups and

pokes fun of them the whole record- if you think he is for them, then you don't know Ministry. This is a classic Ministry

album and honestly blows away all except "In Case You Didn't Feel..." & Psalm 69. Mikey's death I feel absolutely

propelled Al to make something this sick. It slays Hesitation Marks- although I like that record as well, this record is

just better and more powerful lyrically and musically. Great record for them to go out on- if Al really is stopping that is.

I understand your opinion, however, at least half of the material written for FBTE has been already done. When I said about branching more or ''venturing into the unknown'' I was reffering to the fact that Al doesn't seem to have the steam or will to reinvent Ministry anymore (the industrial phase, then the industrial metal and the transition to thrash). It's great that FBTE offers a wide range of sounds from all their career, but it acts like a farewell, not as something mindblowing or innovative.



I don't praise Animositisomina, in fact, it's one of the few Ministry records I don't listen to casually. It has some cool tracks, but overall it's an average, blunt record. Also, I consider Hesitation Marks a slightly better record because it brings something different for NIN. Reznor somehow reinvented NIN by mixing the electronic parts of PHM with the sound manipulations akin to Year Zero or what he's done with How To Destroy Angels. The last couple of songs (Thanx But No Thanx, Change Of Luck) on From Beer To Eternity bring something fresh to the table and that's welcomed. The rest is enjoyable, but nothing mindblowing, it's mostly covered ground.

Yeah obviously not a Ministry fan, this album is ok at the most has some good tracks but as I said before, since the mid 2000's, Jourgensen hasnt made a mind blowing track

uncle Al back to his best great beats and driving guitars best ministry for years,and as for hate

groups get a grip uncle Al is a big lefty when it comes to politics,and if you knew ministry you would

know this,the only hate is directed towards groups of hate in a sarcastic,taking the pish outta them

kinda way.

Maybe it's because I was lukewarm about the last two Ministry albums, or maybe it's because I was stoned and wearing a pair of quality headphones, but this album absolutely blew me away on my first listen.



Due in no small part to Mike Scaccia's contributions and unfortunate passing, I'm sure, Al sounds legitimately inspired here for the first time in almost a decade (I'm attached to Rio Grande Blood, as it was my second Ministry album after Psalm 69)--musically, vocally and production-wise. After Relapse, it was such a relief to hear actual melodies instead of speed-chugging.
