Apparently trance beats in Post-Hardcore are still trendy.

@ andcas - Are you serious?
|

I've seen them live, and I'm pretty sure that only Angelo's vocals are live. I know this because he only did their first two songs and then left because he was sick and his voice was terrible. But they had vocalists from the other bands come and do his parts, which was cool.

How is Angelo live. Does he run out of breath often? If he does I think he screams incorrectly.
|
| |
He did run out of breath, but he also could barely speak when he came on stage. Never really cared enough to check out videos on youtube to see if he's better healthy lol

@ andcas - That was absolutely atrocious. It also proves my point, Angelo doesn't know how to scream correctly.

Now that's just insulting, especially because electronics are my thing. There's just no energy coming from this band at all. Also the guitarist stopped playing halfway through the song...

"guitar sagging lower than this pants"
Haha. Wow.

I'm surprised the crowd just didn't leave at that performance. Some bands just don't have a stage presence or even care to have one.

Too much techno for its own good. Cant understand anything with all the chops. "August" is a great song though.

i don't even know what you're talking about andcas. Song's great! You just don't understand the sheer magnitude of what this band has accomplished.

Canadian trancecore act Abandon All Ships continue to follow trends on their 2nd LP 'Infamous'. Now a quintet, the band this time attempt to incorporate some hip-hop & contemporary R&B into their already messy mish-mash of hardcore and synth-pop. There's still a bunch of breakdowns, a convoluted sing/scream dynamic & a general lack of musical coherency. On the plus side, Martin Broda's clean vocals have improved, if only due to the auto-tune being turned down from level 10 to level 5. It may be more consistent than their debut LP, but it also doesn't reach the same (for want of a better word) heights. Recommended Tracks: Infamous & Forever Lonely.
