The rapping isn't bad but I prefer him singing. The lyrics are really stupid sometimes. The instrumentals are only good on and off and layered with pop elements. The breakdowns get really tiring. The album looses it's energy soon after the 2nd song and you can only feel it in a few scattered songs. The pattern as mentioned in the review is really annoying. It does accomplish something that a lot of albums fail to do- at the end you feel dosed out and ask yourself, "Well that was different. What the hell was going on." If you listen to this keep in mind that the band isn't trying to be heavy and keep an open mind and you might find some songs enjoyable. It's quite easy to see why some people love this and why some people hate this.
