really great review, pos-d hard. i had the pleasure of seeing these guys a few years ago when they toured with velvet revolver. predictably, they blew VR out of the water. duvall had such a tall order trying to fill layne's shoes but he definitely succeeded. i don't really listen to alice in chains much, but you make this sound really good so i'll probably check it out now. thanks.

Fuck, I feel so bad giving this a 3... I'm such an AiC fanboy so I hate giving this such a low score. But it feels like something is missing from this album, mainly in the middle tracks. Something about the album feels pretty uninspired and kinda incomplete
