Yes I'm going to the All Stars tour I've never seen Boo or After the Burial. And I wanna see Emmure only seen them once, Attila, Chelsea Grin, and The Ghost Inside. Sadly Memphis May Fire isn't playing my date.

Few catchy riffs, but breakdowns are far too prevalent.

Ok honestly, I get the impression that this guy doesn't like deathcore (not sure or not, just guessing), but if he doesn't than he shouldn't be writing reviews for it. Chelsea Grin seriously used to be the most amazing band ever and i absolutely loved 'em. Sadly Alex got that throat surgery and now, well you can hear the difference. Everything else is great on the album, except Alex's highs. Desolation of Eden and their EP will always be amazing!

This guy doesn't like deathcore
sorry what
Slam Coke, a deathcore band from Austria, was my first metal band. I loved it. Thought they were the best. Then I listened to deathcore that was actually superb (Whitechapel, Animosity, All Shall Perish, The Red Chord, etc.). I love the genre, I just hate the half-assed attempts from ass bands like this.

In this album i saw some signs that they are going in the right direction with a few catchy riffs and "solo's" but then they would abandon that riff for a breakdown.

Isn't Slam Coke a parody anyway?
|

They're all about slamming coke and they do sniff that stuff, but yeah I guess they're a parody. Their vocalist is pretty scary live though, I saw them in '09 and like 8 people died moshing.

album is really weak compared to Desolation Of Eden+EP. without the comparison it's still nothing special and just a boring deathcore record tbh. sad one for CG, to me it felt they had huge potential..

I still see potential in them this album was a step in the right direction by having some interesting riffs and solo's but they need to lose a LOT of breakdowns still

I think there are so little breakdowns on this...maybe the half amount of DoE's. The greater problem is: the 'newer' ones they use are plain weak and do not work (out) at all.
Decision A: stick to good breakdowns. Decision B: let them out completely.

There's like 3 breakdowns per song dude, how the hell are there less? If anything, its the same.

On DoE it were around 4-5, here there are 1-2, max 3.
So 10-20 against 40-50 breakdowns per record? There is a difference (let's keep it a secret #bmthreference).

why would you even reference that band
