I never figured why people listen to this crap. Seriously, popular music aside, she doesn't look like a whale...she fucking sounds like one. She literally screams more than most screamo vocals out there. The fucking hiccups in her voice are awful. I cringe every time I'm forced to listen to her in a pub. Damn, can't believe people listen to this shit and actually award it with anything but shit. Won't even rate, don't want it to show up on my pie.

She has a fantastic voice - I'd say that's pretty much inarguable. But being a virtuoso on any instrument is pointless with weak songwriting. Plus, she's already blown it out twice already. I don't see Florence Welch cancelling any of her tour dates, and she's as good a singer or better than Adele.

I guess it's valid to critique pop music for songwriting quality, but is it reasonable? It's a business not an art.

And that's like saying the fastest car in the world isn't the fastest anymore because it was in an accident. Do the repairs and give it some time and it'll be back on the road.

But it's going to continue being in wrecks if the driver doesn't learn how to handle it properly.

And that comes with experience. She'll be fine.
