Hard for me to pick a favorite, really. Been leaning toward Island as of late. Just absolutely beautiful.

One of the best albums this year. All songs are great with the exception of "Stone Angels" which is hit or miss depending on mood. England rules too hard.

I still think both Bergtatt and Nattens Madrigal are their best albums by far, but that isn't to say that their later stuff (at least what I've heard) isn't great too.

They did release two brilliant black metal albums, but their experimental side now far outreaches and outweighs their metal days. Plus, I think Shadows of the Sun is their magnum opus.
