right now I'm not even all the way through with Alien Observer and this already shapes up as my favorite album of the year so far.

need to relisten to her last one as well, I remembered it as being quite boring but now I guess I was just dumb as fuck back then.

it probably just didn't hit you immediately, it's one of those albums that i can definitely understand growing. its amazing though, so you owe it to yourself to relisten.

tough as in bad? ive heard mixed things about her live shows. some people say its amazing and some say its awful, whether they like her recorded stuff or not.

it was pretty awful. she was opening for animal collective and her set did not mesh well with the vibe at all. also she didn't play heavy water which is her best song by far

i heard a lot of people talking shit about her live--haven't heard one good thing, in fact--but i saw her live (before i got any of her albums) and it was perfect. gorgeous and calming and the visuals were really good and fitting, and i just could have watched her for five hours tbh

she had no visuals when i saw her. it was just her and mood lighting and poor sound equipment which irritated her all through her performance
