Pizza was a tad bit of a let down, IMO (just b/c Werepizza mostly sucks) but whatever. It was all joke material and I'm sure their 2007 album will rip it.

IMHO, this is pretty normal metalcore with NES-like keyboards and nerdy lyrics. I'd have liked if they'd stretched out on this whole "Nintendo" thing more. A bit overhyped.

I saw them with Poison the Well. Last April. Erik (the keyboardist) is the most insane keyboardist i've ever seen. THEIR LIVE SHOW IS SO MUCH BETTER THEN THE ALBUM

one of my favorite "music moments" ever is in 'sand' when he shouts "and everybody celebrate!" that goes into a fantastic bridge. it's just classic and classy. so anyways....

I saw these guys in Philly lastnight and they were absolutely great. I've been going to so many metal shows lately where everybody is pissed off and just a bunch of meatheads walking around in their friggin basketball jerseys acting like a bunch of douches and this was a nice change of pace.

These guys were fucking hilarious and me and my friend just couldn't stop smiling and laughing while they were playing. These guys are awesome although I gotta say I like R.Borlax a little better.

this band is epic. a band with a great sense of humor that just makes me crack up. and they hate being called "nintendo-core" saying that the label doesnt suit them. though i'm not sure what to call them in that case :P

I don't get how everyone and their mom goes apeshit for R. Borlax when the songs AND the band are a million times tighter on this record. The guitar-playing on Borlax is sloppier than Madonna's cooch (not to mention nowhere as good as the riffage on the 2nd record), their old drummer simply sucked, Nathan's vox sucked even more, and with the exception of classic songs like "Cutsman" and "Bunnies", the melodies are more varied and take a more prominent role in the songs on Mechanical Hand. It may not be as schizophrenic as their first record but overall it's better IMO.

This.

this series of tracks from this glorious album are the most beautiful sounds that I have heard in a long time. R. Borlax comes close but i really do like this album better. I cry to "Soaring Quails"

there music is not about video games... yes a few songs are but those were for fun if you knew how to read you would notice the metaphors in the lyrics...
Have you ever been shanked in the face? cuz you're certainly heading towards a nice big shank in the ocular cavity
