Are you kidding me? Underground production is sample heavy, always laced with various instrumentation and the drum beat is in the background like it should be. If anything, Mainstream production is 'almost-as-if-there's-nothing-there-but-drum-beats', listen to anything by Boi-1da and Noah Shebib, very minimalistic.
