Celestial is pretty underrated. And while Isis are influenced by Neurosis, there are many of differences between the bands. Neurosis were way more sludgy and dark, while Isis was more atmospherics and had almost pretty post-rock guitar passages that Neurosis would never do.

A review nearly as epic as the album itself...Panopticon is ultimately mood music of the highest order, but will utterly deliver when called upon. One of my fifteen favorite albums of all time, and one of the greatest pieces of art in metal so far...



Never could get into Callisto, however. Providence was a pretty poor album and Noir was a bit more than average...
