Once you've become accustomed to the raw emotion and power of bands like Meanwhile, Back In Communist Russia, The Evpatoria Report, This Is Your Captain Speaking, and Te, it's really easy to dismiss "seminal" albums like these, especially when they're a 2.5 without comparing them to their genre and what it's proven capable of.

No MBICR is fucking magical. I mean it's like a 4 instrumentally, but the lyrics and the way they're placed make it all a 5, easily. This doesn't even come close. I mean, it's so stagnant and overrated - essentially on the same level with Mono (which isn't saying much at all).
