I want to like this. Retro inspired international pop with a female vocal is usually right up my alley, but her voice has my finger hovering over the "stop" button.
And that pun... It's so bad, but you can't not use it. Good or bad, it has to exist now.

I thought Ladyhawke was great, although DaveyBoy pointing out the Van Halen influence put a slight hit on my appreciation. But for the most part, I thoroughly enjoy it.

Yeah, check out "Back of the Van". Sounds a bit like a popular VH song. It's pretty difficult to unhear that.

I also prefer the debut of Ladyhawke to Gin's debut, but they're not really all that similar, apart from both coming from NZ.
