obviously, rym has a more fitting rating... damn, sputnik sucks hard when rating albums like this
|

Jamming to this now. I think it's really underrated. You Won't Change Me and Dirty Women are among some of Sabbath's best songs. Definitely better than a 2.5 rating

This album was just ok; a big downgrade from Sabotage tbh.

Oh boy... this is when it got really bad.
Back Street Kids starts off with a decent enough riff, but then Ozzy's atrocious vocals kick in.
Bill Ward smokes Ozzy in in vocal talent on It's Alright, but GNR did the song better.
Only one more atrocious album to go until the band was finally saved in 1980.

There are a couple of good songs on this one but it's nowhere near their previous albums. It's not a 1 though.

Never Say Die>Technical Ecstasy, personally

Album Rating: 3.0
If I had to choose one, I'd go with Technical Ecstasy by just a slight margin even though Never Say Die has Junior's Eyes which is great. Both are painfully average though for me.

Same.
