I love this album like I love my...female fronted metal bands.

Heavy, tech, melodic, catchy, and fronted by a chick that says screaming produces a pleasant sensation in her clitoris.

That interview had me cracking up...

Female fronted metal bands are some of the best out there, yes.

nice review, i like how u really went into detail, one of the better track-by-tracks out there! great album, much better than its predecessor, although not quite up the standards of their earlier material.

I really need to hear their early material that everyone is raving about. As of right now this remains to be my favorite album from them.

against the grain, i personally dont like their first three albums much, theyre ok just a bit, idunno, standard in comparison to the later three. I think they took a big step up in sound and songwriting when angela joined the group

Standard? They're anything BUT standard, my friend.

Burning Bridges aside (what I've heard from that album strikes me as boring), the first two were chock full of inventive riffs and absolutely crushing drumming. Stigmata remains as my personal best melodic death metal album ever released, and Black Earth has its moments.

I saw this band recently on the metal show they have on fuse.

I'm the kind of person who usually gravitates to goofy tv programs.Like how people justify watching reality tv,american idol, and buffy the vampire slayer,I still enjoy watching rock videos, although its going to be difficult trouncing the ambitious idiocy of R.kelly,I find these kind of bands funny.

Its not that I think they suck, they dont,I used to listen to slayer, metallica, motorhead, even venom, that should give you an idea how old I am.Its just that I am having difficulty distinguishing these bands.Except this one.

I was watching this video, and like the other bands,I am goofing on the singer/growler(singrowler?)and noticed its a girl, which made me laugh even harder. This is going to be misconstrued as sexism, but it was so ridiculous. She was sounding so angry,it must have been a drafty soundstage they made the video in.

I dont know the name of the song, but I did catch the chorus-

"WE ARE BRAVEGGGLLDL,WE AREGGGL STRONG,RAGHHAGHRRAKKLL,RAHRAHHGFGGLL

Well it sounded quite inspirational,I wanted to go out and just laugh at the face of adversity, but used up all my laughter watching this video.

as for the group,I got nothing against them, they serve a purpose and they are fine musicians,I hope they got a good record deal and will invest wisely and prosper.

Thanks much.

usaidol, you're thinking of Nemesis. And yes, Gossow does look quite angry in that.

That was excellently written, but i don't really enjoy Arch Enemy to any degree.

I will refrain from voting though, don't want to drag the vote score down with my gothenburg cynysicm.

Voting gives your opinion on how well the review was written, not whether you like the band or not. :thumb:

This album is pretty good. Angelas' vocals scare the hell out of me! Nemesis and Legend Out For Blood are my favorite tracks.

I'm guessing he meant vote for the album, like a rating.
