The melodic keyboards in the background are awesome, too.

Rec me stuff similar to this, please. Fear Factory? Static X?
Unfortunately, there isn't much. But the closest I've heard would be a band called Neurotech. They have that ice cold sound, like on this album.

Neurotech is pretty sweet

Ah, you gave it a listen? Yeah, there was a new album this year. I really loved it. Good quality dance metal.

I'm pretty sure the one this year is the only of their stuff I've heard. Ever so slight of a black metal influence in the vocals
|
| |
Yeah, I was just introduced to them this year as well. But I'd say their new album is easily my favourite anyway.

Ice-cold. What a great way to describe it. Atoma also has that feel, but they're what brought me to Sybreed in the first place. Damn, I have a feeling that I know this atmosphere from somewhere, but no band is QUITE like that.

Glad you dig it man. I'd also recommend Neurotech. Blue Screen Planet is my personal favorite by him.

Oh yeah, it's one guy. I keep forgetting ;)
Yeah, Atoma is another one. Totally forgot about them. Great release this year as well.

Oh... it just occurred to me. Early Soilwork has quite a similar atmosphere. First 3 CDs. Nowhere near as refined, though

Too bad they broke up, they were something else for sure
|

Omgggg they broke up? Damn that sucks. I didn't really like anything they put out after this though.

This sounds like if mid-era In Flames merged with Meshuggah. It's pretty great, but if only the cleans were better.
Shame that this band broke up though.

cleans grow on you hard, they really fit the sound imo
