Love me some Mortician! Remember hearing Zombie Apocalypse on some Sirius XM station when I was disovering heavy shit and being blown away by how thicc it was.
That being said I'm a major horror nerd and I still consider cutting all of the samples off their discography and throwing them on my iPod like that. Probably gonna quit being lazy and do that someday soon. I also wish they had more material with a real drummer. The demo material is classic

n my opinion, brutal death metal, like Cryptopsy and Cannibal Corpse, is the most pathetic kind of the music there is. The blast double-bass beats are so uncreative, and the vocals just make me crack up. Growling can be good, like with Opeth or Amon Amarth, but this just sounds ridiculous. Brutal death metal isn't expressive of emotion or lyrical talent. The lyrics are only disgusting for the sake of it.
