Finally completed my Enslaved collection with this album...I'm finding it enjoyable in spurts but I can't see myself ever really being in the mood to listen to it.

I don't listen to it very often anymore, either. That's not due to a lack of quality, though - when I wrote this review I was in the middle of a several-week period where I'd listen to it at least once a day. It's just so monstrous and weighted that it takes a good deal of commitment to devote my time to it.

Yeah it's awesome. Have you heard the Yggdrasil demo? Not quite as good as this, but it comes close, and it's certainly better than the Hordanes Land EP.

I'm actually quite surprised to find a fair bit of dislike for this album. A true classic in my opinion and probably my
favourite of their 90's output (except for Blodhemn perhaps). The atmosphere created throughout is perfect and by the
time 'Heimdallr' rolls around... ferociously awesome.
