I listened to a song off this from their myspace. It wasn't bad or anything, but it didn't exactly make me want to delve any further into this album.

i love this album, one of top 10/15 of 2008. good review though coke.

It's not a matter of bad, it's a matter of "bland". It's lifeless. It sounds like they didnt even want to record it.

I am glad this was said because I read the other review, listened to this album, and wondered what i was missing because I didn't wanna listen to it again.

The album's not that bad. It's got its share of generic parts, but its got its great moments as well. Doesn't deserve a 2, maybe more of a 3-3.5. Not the best of 2008, far from it, but a decent listen. I think you went a bit too hard in the review. Anyway, it's your tastes man.

I think lifeless is a bit too strong. Completely average maybe lol.



After a few more listens, I still think is quite good, but I can see what coke is talking about when he says lazy. The only thing I get any kind of emotion from (and it's not much) is the piano parts.

Right, I wasn't saying that exactly, but to me lifeless is something more akin to sub-par black metal shrieks, or some of the crappily overdone metalcore singers.

The vocals here have more strength and verve than that, but they're also very average overall. Not sure of that makes sense, hopefully you get what I'm saying.

u is a-stupid. BTA is awesome and is good prog. plus, i tried to buy this at Walmart, they no have it.

and Alex's vocals sucked, to be honest. they need a DIFFERENT clean singer.
