People love to hate on any bands that got/get popularity from Myspace and from touring w/ scene bands.

This album is solid from start to finish, the riffing and soloing is metalcore-ish at times and I can see that as a major complaint, but its still enjoyable.

Album is crap. One song has one cool section with piano and clean vocals. That's about it. I'll stick to Cradle for this kind of music. And the video is awesomely bad.

I was excited when they got back together but I hate this album just as much or equally as Jake Delhomme. I was dissapointed, they picked up a hot keyboardist which is the only positive thign I can really say about this band.

It's symphonic black metal. I don't see how anyone can like COF or symphonic black metal in general and not this, seeing as COF are a more mainstream and crappier version than this.
I think this album is great fun to listen to compared to most of black metal.
The keyboard player isn't just a pretty face, she can play too. Some of the keyboard arrangements are awesome!

Ha ha Luca. This band is terrible and the definition of mainstream and crappy. Do you really want to compare these two bands or are you just fucking retarded? This album still retains the -core- elments and I will refuse to ever call these guys black metal, because they are not. More like just extreme metal which can also be directed to The Funeral Pyre who rapes this band.

Balls...yes there are significant differences between the bands but I have to say that compared to the Legend EP, the core elements have been toned down. And although you may refuse to call it black metal I struggle to find another suitable sub-genre it could go into.

And...tbh my definition of mainstream and crappy is Trivium etc...

Symphonic extreme metal? I don't know.

They definitely have a mix of melodic and symphonic elements.



Also, The Funeral Pyre sucks, especially live.
