They ARE pop punk with a bit of a metal influence towards the latter days. All Killer No Filler is pure pop punk to the core.

OK whatever. I don't THINK that Sum is Pop Punk. I just can't picture Blink or Good Charlotte playing these songs if you know what I mean.

dude, the trumpets are what make this album so great!! these guys cover metal/punk/rap and ska in one album - who else has ever done that......like no one.

Good first album by Sum 41 love it. Makes No Difference, What I Believe , Summer , Machine Gun are the best songs i thought on this album.

I always liked this album more than the second.
