and i think the downthingie was because because Hybrid Theory was awesome, it's hard to make an album that's better so they failed in that.

now i'm waiting for their 3rd album

IMO Meteora was not were good. It had several good songs, which were. "Breaking the habit", "Lying from you", "Numb".

I think linkin park is mostly hype though. After Hybrid Theory they rushed in and tryed to put out more music and in the process just put junk. (re animation)
Then Meteora, then Live in Texas?
I'm really not sure if this band is as great as people say.

IMO

yes, they are not very great, only 2 of them are really talented which are chester and joe.

rob bourdon and brad delson are just average, nothing special and phoenix is just sick simple.

mike shinoda has some rapping talent but wants to do everything which is also very annoying.

Isn't Mike Shinoda a good musician? I read somewhere that he's been playing piano for 10+ years, and is extremely good at it.

I have some appreciation for some of the songs from Hybrid Theory, but the Meteora songs are pretty bad. And I think that despite the amazing production, Chester's vocals are really weak and drained on this cd/dvd.

He has very weak and passionless live vocals.

I don't get it, first everyone says they do just the same in their real albums as they did in hybrid theory then suddenly saying they are sellouts.

this is very confusing. what are they...

Mike isn't very bad but he wants to do everythin, also things he is not good at, like guitar and singing.

he can rap and play piano but it's just not enough

dragon~guitarist, Brad has two different guitars throughout certain songs because the DVD is compilled footage from two different shows, you dumf uck.

But my personal view: I love the dvd even though it's obviousely been edited to hell. I think the studio albums are better, but the rating for this record is a little too low. Now if you want to talk about a REALLY ****ty album, it's Collision Course. Truly the prime example of how big of sellouts LP can be.

But to counter what Eliminator Jr. said: LP sued warner bros. records because they wanted more creative control over their music, so the next album should be all them. If not however, LP will go out of my favorites list forever.

Eh! One of my favorite bands, but nothing much to say about this DVD. It's all good though.

This live album isn't very good. I mean the music is good, but it's because of Chester! He isn't- well, I wish this was a studio album because there isn't any effects in live shows. "Faint" was poor. I was going to say this a month ago, when I wasn't registered to this website:

I used to have this album (both the CD and DVD). I don't have it now because it burned up in a bus fire (really!). Right now, I'm a Junior in high school, right now, and the fire happened last year, during Spring Break.

Well, I'm in the high school marching band and 2004-2005 was the year in which we go to Orlando, Florida and perform at Walt Disney World, at Magic Kingdom.

Anyway, we took two buses, from Sampson Trailways. We left around 8:00 or 9:00 a.m. from the Piedmont region of Georgia (It's the region that Atlanta is in) and after we ate lunch near the Georgia-Florida border at 12:00 p.m. we left and 15 minutes later, we were in Flordia. I don't know the exact time, but around 12:45-1:30 p.m. there was a fire. As always, what is the first most likely be seen when there's a fire: smoke. Well everybody got of, ran 1/2 a mile away, bus burning like hell, tires exploding (kind of), girls crying, fire engines running a little late, I'm just standing there watching how beautiful the smoke and fire are going together, wow... the second bus came by to pick us up.

The End...

well...

not exactly...

Second half of the long story short, we demanded over $11,000 from the bus company, but they offered $200 for each victim. The problem is still going on today. Bad news: Next year (2006-2007) we have to use the same buses from that company.

In the future, in this website, I'll be The_Inner_Drummer, because I was in the drumline (2 years playing cymbals, and 1 year playing a 26 inch head bass drum). Next year, I'll be in pit (the other percussion).

Anyway, the album was OK. Not as good as Slipknot 9.0 Live.

Don't worry about the The_Inner_Darkness paragraph... I was a guest.This Message Edited On 03.30.06

blegh... umm.... blegh.

I hate how my hand slips and i give albums higher ratings then i mean to. it's like the third time

I, like hard rocker 89 enjoy this band very much... but this was rather a disappointment seeing that their songs sound bland. One of my friends heard this with me and couldn't tell it wasn't a studio recording... i dunno why but many people have told me that other then a couple of cheers, this doesn't really sound like they are live.

I beg to differ, I could tell the difference and though they aren't a great live band... AT ALL... the songs don't sound too distinct from their studio albums.

But I guess I prefer this then what their intentions were on either putting out a a live album (which they did) or remix all the meteora songs like what Reanimation did to Hybrid Theory. Probably they were gonna call it Reanimation 2.0 or something but I guess I would have prefered that to this.... probably.
