Really can't see why everyone thinks this album is so great, I mean...yes there are a few solo's which are ''nice'' but c'mon.
I think the solos are often the low points of this album. Shreddy solos have never done much for me although the solo in Winter Madness is good.

Alright...I've just digged some songs and must say I was too fast in my ''judgement''. Not like I totally adore this or anything, but I can see how people could love it now.
And yes, Solo in Winter Madness is great. Reminds me of CoB's HB/FTR term.
But tbh...the more and more I'm listening, the more I'm going like ''Yeah....this really is nice'' So who knows, perhaps I'll join the fanboi-army one of these days.

true story: In order to get the inspiration to make this album, Jari had to spend 2 years in antarctica with nothing but a loin cloth and a box of saltine crackers. He also cut off his left ear.

The music isn't based just on guitars such as other bands, it's the song as a whole. I think Jari has made an incredible piece of work here, and I haven't heard anything that I enjoy as much as this yet.
