guy made maybe the some of the most moving music to me of all time through about-this-album (which has problems, but is excellent)--I mentioned something similar in the blood orange thread recently, but certain songs on Ghosts, April, maybe Admiral have an incredible poignance, just unmatched, hits ya right there and the there feels too complex to just be The Feels
I've mentioned this but I was tumblr mutual followers when I was 19 with a not-particularly-followed 19 year old girl who kinda live-tumbl'd her experience with mark but never named him other than mark (her URL was one of the album titles) and then 3/4-decade later I was like Wait woah.

Yeah robertsona, Koz really is one of the worst cases out there of “shitty guy makes good music”, indeed there’s something ethereally and indescribably gripping and emotive about his best work. Some artists I don’t mind blacklisting but his is easy to miss. I can separate art from artist well enough but obviously understand some can’t (and of course get that my ability to do so comes from a place of privilege).
