It is so damn strong for 1990. Only other dm album from that year that comes close off of the top of my head is Nocturnus- The Key. I'm sure I'm probably missing something though. I'm pretty strict with what I 5 for death metal though since I love so much of it

Damn I don't think I ever realized Atrocity was that early on. Love that album. It's been forever since I've jammed grotesque. Need to get back on it. Spiritual Healing is the jam also. I always kinda found Left Hand Path to be a little overrated to my ears but I need to give it another chance probably. Cool album, just never really blew me away tbh
