A little bit dude
Basically I misplaced my key to the apartment and I've been borrowing my flatmates' as they've been in England and Morocco respectively; decided to finally get a new one cut and so took it to a locksmith where he told me it'd take 2 hours maximum, cost €45 and he'd give me a call when it was ready. Being from then on locked out of my apartment, I had to postpone all my other administrative commitments and wait for 3 hours in a cafe, staring and waiting on my phone. Having not received a phonecall, I went back and inquired as to the status of the key and he told me it was impossible to copy due to complicated contours/key jargon in French that I couldn't really follow. So essentially, I wasted three hours of my time, didn't even get a new key nor the courtesy of a phonecall to say "yeah, we can't do it.." So now, when my flatmate gets back tomorrow morning my schedules will have to effectively revolve around theirs, and anytime they leave the apartment I either have to stay in or commit to going out until their business for the day is done. Kinda shitty.
