That is a fair point. His solo stuff is kind of the same way, too, tho. I imagine he has even less label pressure to make a certain sound there, but he still travels along the same, or very similar, route as Alter Bridge.

That said, I typically enjoy most of the stuff Tremonti is involved with, but his last solo outing and AB's last album were both on the disappointing side, especially with the quality of the previous album (this and in his solo work, Dust).

Creed's best songs were the ones that weren't released as radio singles, aka the "filler" tracks nobody ever heard. those were usually the songs that pushed the metal envelope and allowed Tremonti and the other members to branch out a bit.

"Beautiful", "Pity For A Dime", "Say I (Human Clay)", "Wrong Way / Faceless Man", "Stand Here With Me" > pretty much all of their big hits

My favorite Creed is What If. Better than anything they ever did and it was from a Scream soundtrack.

I agree with those tracks for sure, you guys should check out To Whom it May Concern and Is This the End. Both good Creed tracks from movie soundtracks that had no radio play.

Hide is pretty good yeah, not a top favorite though. Check those tracks I listed above for reals. They're Human Clay era and would have fit perfectly on it.

Will do. Some of the song titles mentioned don't sound familiar to me. Be interesting, and kinda weird, to hear some new Creed.

The Creed songs I still like to throw on are Torn, One, What If, Higher (just can't help myself with that one), and Bullets, with One and What If being my favorites.

those are all the more decent Creed singles, with the exception of "Higher" which is ass (sorry my guy) but "My Own Prison" and "Torn" are their two best singles imo. "What If" is okay but used to be my favorite so OAT as a kid

Yeah, lol. I think Creed's stigma has faded a fair amount, where as Nickelback is still going strong, tho, ha.

I know Higher is bad, but it's like cheesy good and kind of comical, and I get a bit of a kick out of it when it comes on. I don't know how else to describe it.

I am actually taking a trip down memory lane and jamming some Creed tonight. I have never heard Full Circle (might actually not have known about it's existence till recently) and I finally found a download of the b-sides you all have mentioned.

I checked out Creed last night, l hadn't ever really listened to them before and wasn't a fan, Stapp's vocals got really annoying after a while.

Yeah, he is the main detractor, I think. He does fine on the more aggressive tracks, but when they try to slow it down, it usually doesn't hold up.

Honestly, his voice is what l imagine Cornell's voice would sound like on a really bad day

Ha ha, nice. That might be my favorite comparison of his voice.

Like smoking 3 packs a day for years, lost his voice and had a stroke on the same day, and still tried to record an album afterwards.

This is an old mad tv skit that I just remembered that's still kind of funny and poking fun at stapp and some others that do that singing style:

Stapp sounds like he has some sort of accent when he sings, maybe eastern european or french or something.

Ha, that skit is pretty bang on. Must say though, the best skit show of all time and it's not even close is the Chappelle Show.
