I really want to like this but outside of 2 or maybe 3 tracks this just flew by on the first three listens. Which is really disappointing since Salvation and SATH are monumental records imo. It feels a bit like they had to show that they still could do heavy slduge stuff.

I remember an interview where one of them mentioned how the scene was flooded with bands that stomp on a bunch of delays and reverbs and all were starting to sound the same, and they wanted to come out and just lean on distortion with this one. I think it's the most unique album in their discog, and still adore it.
