Coral Blue is pretty great but it took me a while to get into

I actually first got into converge because of coral blue, John Baizley of Baroness did an interview talking about being laid up in the hospital after their bus crash and not really being able to enjoy heavy music because of how fucked up he was physically, and apparently his wife brought him this album right towards the end of his recovery and it got him super jazzed about making metal again. his first time back onstage afterwards was singing coral blue with Converge and the YouTube clip of that was the first I'd heard of them.



All that said.... Best track here is sadness comes home, what a goddamn rager
