it's like 20-25 and I think Adam is going but fuck it's also my anniversary with my girl and I doubt she wants to spend it seeing an emo band

world is was actually really good live and i hate their recordings. granted, the mic was shitty and all you could hear was the instrumentals. they had so much equipment that it caused a power surge

At first listen this might seem unspectacular and far from innovative. In fact, from a solely instrumental standpoint, this is even true. While by no means bad and with a few interesting instances here and there, the melodies on their own wouldn't justify a rating like this. If you listen to a lot of bands from a similar genre, you could even argue how standard and repetitive it sounds. But after giving it one or two more spins and paying attention to the excellent lyrics while doing so, you notice how everything fits together in such a convincing manner, that one can't disregard the honesty, authenticity and emotion behind the music. The way it is being delivered to listeners makes this album worth your time and, while not musically outstanding from an 'objective' viewpoint, sticks to ones mind as something truly special.

Thought I'd try to do the DaveyBoy and post my Sound Off into the comment section.

First time I read about this and listened into one song it instantly deterred me from continuing. Months later I retried to sit through the (anyway rather short) album while reading the lyrics to each song and at some point, not even sure where it was, it kind of clicked to me. All songs are good to superb, with the longer and slower ones (Among the Wildflowers) on top to rule them all.
