I saw these guys maybe two years ago with Revocation, Cattle Decap and Artificial Brain, I believe it was, and the crowd reaction to this was very mixed. Some people visibly despised it and the people who actually liked them looked like they were having a seizure lol

I haven't seen that tbh. as for the divide when they play live, I saw the same thing but I was in full-on seizure-mode to care. they didn't show disgust, moreso were left speechless.

Cosmic Vein enters and ends with noise...as to the T/track is noise driven imo...the thing it lacks from previous albums is that sludge (almost doom at times) eyehategod drive (except for that awesome ending on last track), opposing a certain DM feel on some tracks here...as an album, and on this album specifically, that didn't came out as bad thing to me. The point here is to trumpet you with ecstasy and they succeed imo lol m/

but agree this is the least experimental noise release...

imthexxxy...I didn't say that, but sometimes, even if it isn't a "yardstick for quality" it is for experimentation. I do love your piechart its supercool! It will be a cool challenge to keep it like that.
