I think all Between the Buried and Me's stuff is pretty grow-y but this album hit me right away. I love the mood surrounding the whole thing. It feels a lot more cohesive and fleshed out than Colors.

Oh yeah. Colors isn't a "shitty" album by any means. It's just not my favorite...

I haven't heard everything from these guys but I've heard quite a few releases and Colors remains my favorite

See, I guess part of my qualm with Colors is the pieces don't really seem to match the color... there is no distinctive sound for each one. That album would be sweet if they started with a theme and each piece was a play on that theme... but it's doesn't.

Can't stand the production... Takes so much of the power away that some songs could have. Guitars need to be way higher and vocals a lower in the mix
