Can you actually name many modern prog rock bands that do take the genre forward? Other than those awful alt-prog style bands (a category that PT pretty much defines) which hardly progress the genre either.
Heritage was definitely one of the most interesting 70's-influenced modern prog albums I've heard.
(Wilson just sucks in general)

"Last Chance..." is excellent, I'll give you that, but I wouldn't agree about the rest. Of course, the pacing and variety are perfect, but that can be said about most SW records and it doesn't make them great. And "Russia on Ice"? Do you really feel like there's a point to the 2nd half?
