Sucks they can't quite duplicate this cause I fucking love Alone With You Sapphire and Chemical Cave.

Band definitely peaked with Nomadic. A full album with the quality of those tracks would be something.

It’s pretty good, just a bit rough on the ears. Makes me not want to return to it as much as I’d like. Nomadic and harvest wombs are sweet too.

I go to Dreamless far more than this now. Besides opener and Allure -> Sapphire -> Cave, I can live without it. If not for a semi-weak opening I don't even think it would be that controversial. The rest of the album has aged so much better than this.

A little, but I think it's pretty clearly a step down from the trajectory they had. Losing Alex hurt more than I thought it would.

Honestly, I vastly prefer the first four tracks on this to the rest

Anyone know what happened with the DR10 remaster? Was that just a taste Zach gave AMG and the vinyl release, or was it released elsewhere digitally?

I'm listening to this again now on better earbuds and the DR3(?) doesn't sound as bad as it did to me when this released.

Didn't know it was getting a remaster. Would love to hear Starlit and Allure properly. Those songs crushed live.

Ahh this is going off old rumors I guess, like really old hearsay. A DR10 copy exists and I read somewhere that this is what the 2016 vinyl pressing was based off of, and then elsewhere read that it might be coming out more officially, and then it dropped off my radar.

iirc the DR10/11 version was provided exclusively to AMG for a comparison to the official CD master and was never intended for a digital release. The only way the masses were going to hear it was if it was leaked, but then for obvious reasons, Unique Leader would have known exactly where it came from. So it's no real surprise we've never heard it.

i own the DR10 version because i used to work for angry metal guy - it doesn't sound that much better. it's just not a great mix to begin with.

Yea, my final legacy to this piece-of-shit site. This was one of my favourite sites of all time. I had a lot of different friends that shared the same music as I liked, but more and more assholes joined the site and my friends got banned or the simply quit visiting the site Feel free to create multiple user-accounts to flame me and this review. I don't fucking care anymore. I'm done with this site. God-like thanks to South_Of-Heaven_11, Shadows, Cravinov_13, Silent_Echo, BallsToTheWalls, Rattlehead and a few others. I hope that you will have a good life ahead of you, but this is my final farewell... Thank you Sputnik music for giving me the opportunity to discover new music and friends... metal will always stand tall m/ m/
