There's so much in each track that even after god knows how many listens there's still new things to pick out and enjoy.

Completely with hawks here. The atmosphere in this is just so well done and unique compared compared to their older stuff which was filled with way too much repetition

This flows very well tbh, a lot of different pacing

I think Tides is the best thing these guys have done, lots of Agalloch influence on that one. It's been ages since I've spinned this.

Tides is good but it doesn't have those killer moments that make this so memorable

They are too different IMO, Tides is more ambient bm and this is more experimental/avant garde

Tides is just more run-of-the-mill and not as impressive as this album. this delivers a lot of different atmospheres and very well-executed experimentation. I think this is miles ahead of Tides.

Disagree, but to each his own. I know I'm in the minority of people who liked that EP. It's like if they mixed Weakling and Agalloch with masterful results. Also the length is adequate, a hard 5 in my book.
